I am so pleased to have beem a part of the 'Project on Peace' with the charity Most Mira for which I am a trustee.

Most Mira ('Bridge of Peace') was established in 2009 with the aim to support reconciliation and peace-building in the Prijedor area of Republika Srpska, Bosnia-Herzegovina. The organisation was founded by Kemal Pervanić, a survivor of the Omarska concentration camp set up during the 1992-1995 Bosnian war. The charity focuses on peacebuilding and reconciliation through theatre and architectural initiatives.

The Project on Peace or POP took place over a week focusing on young people in Bosnia and looks to the future of peace building.
I was there throughout the week supporting the project and, on the last day, facilitate a drama workshop with the participants. The project looked at the recent history, its current ramifications and my drama imput was to imagine the future: knowing what the young people now know, how can they imagine a future of 'bridge-building' towards peace.
